Contract and Health Guarantee
All of our puppies are sold with a full health guarantee. If your puppy is diagnosed with a congenital defect we will replace that puppy within a year. You must simply return the puppy to us so we can have it treated by our vet, and within a year we will replace it with a puppy of equitable value. In 16 years we have never had a dog or puppy have any type of health problems. An attorney once explained to me that the more words in a contract, the less it helps a person (the more it covers the seller). More words means more exclusions. You can observe this fact everywhere something of value is offered. Our puppy contract is very simple because if we are ever in a position to make things right by replacing a puppy we will do so. Furthermore if the puppy passes away of natural causes or is accidentally killed (ie: hit by a car), before it reaches 10 years old we will give 50% of your purchase price towards a replacement puppy when you are ready. We remove the worry in getting a healthy family member and want you to enjoy 15 to 20 healthy happy years with your new pet if possible!
If you are buying a pet puppy it is on a spay/neuter contract. If you want the AKC limited registration on the puppy then you must let us know in advance of 6 months & send us proof that your dog was spayed/neutered before 7 months of age. We will then send you the registration papers and you are responsible for all fees due the AKC for registration of your puppy. If you are buying a show/breeding puppy then arrangements are made on an individual basis according to conditions agreed to at the time of sale, on conditions to transfer full AKC registration.
If at anytime you can no longer care for your puppy we simply ask that you offer it back to us at no cost before taking it to a shelter. If you ever need to sell your puppy we ask that you notify us and allow us to approve the new buyer to insure the welfare of our puppies.
